I had high hopes for my stay at Hotel Mielparque Okayama, especially when I first entered the lovely lobby. However, I was disappointed by the strong smell of smoke in my non-smoking room and the worn couch with a hole in the upholstery. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was nice, which made my stay a bit more enjoyable, but the room's issues were hard to overlook.
